The Ultimate Skincare Routine For Busy Career Girls

If there is one thing we all wish to master it’s probably our skincare routines. I mean, let’s be honest, who doesn’t want flawless skin? Exactly everyone! And the journey to getting the perfect skin takes work and dedication… it might sound a bit dramatic but when you are on a busy schedule, sticking to your skincare routine is probably not one of the first things on your list.

Here’s an easy-to-adopt skincare routine that will fit every busy career girl’s schedule.

Every basic skincare routine should at least consist of three main steps:

1) Cleansing

Washing your face is one of the basic and yet essential steps of your skincare routine. The best thing to do is to always cleanse your face early in the morning and before you go to bed. Find out what type of cleanser works best for you –  A great cleanser will rid your skin of dirt and impurities (and of course make-up too) and will always leave your face feeling soft and smooth.

2) Toning

For many, this might be a personal preference. Toning simply helps to prepare your skin right before applying any type of moisturiser. Essentially, a toner is used to remove any excess oil and dead skin cells before applying anything else to your face. Instead of using a toner twice a day, you could choose to apply a toner only during your evening skincare routine.

3) Moisturising

Moisturising your skin is another essential step within any skincare routine that should probably not be skipped at any cost. Moisturising or basically creaming your skin is perfect to help hydrate and soften your skin. In other words, a good moisturiser is not supposed to leave your skin tight and dry. Take the time to find out what type of moisturiser works best for your skin type (for example: oily, dry and sensitive) as moisturisers can come in different textures such as lotions, creams and gel.
